What’s better than a cool drawing? A cool drawing that moves! I love traditional, hand drawn, frame by frame animation. Out of all the different types of animation to create, it is my favorite. I find it the most fun to make, by far. There’s also a quality that can’t be captured with a computer generated image. A charm and appeal all its own. The tools have certainly advanced, past a handful of paper over a light table, into the digital world, but drawings are still drawings. On paper or a wacom tablet, still hand drawn.

Let’s go on an adventure together! We’ll meet some interesting and quirky characters. Dodge some trouble and/or explosions. Race for a daring rescue, and make some unlikely new friends.
Nearly all of the characters that I draw, and certainly the ones I draw repeatedly, have stories and worlds and adventures dreamed up to accompany them. Here are a few of them, told more completely than a simple sketch or single drawing. Come along for the ride!
